I have stayed in the Malone prior to COVID and enjoyed it then, which influenced my choice this time. They did not let me down, in fact, it was better this time because of the refurbishment. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed; there was no cause for complaint there. The staff were all of smart appearance, knowledgeable and helpful as well as very pleasant. I have to mention the Breakfast Chef who came through to ask if there was anything else he could add to our choice. A special guy. The location is excellent. there are buses on both Malone Road and Lisburn Road that run frequently to and from the city centre, making access so easy, to enjoy a pint of Guinness in the famous Crown Liquor Store.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The staff are fantastic. Super friendly, helpful in everyway. The breakfast menu, while not extensive, I found the food to be top class. Fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared. The bar area is warm and friendly. Comfortable furniture with views out into the tree lined street and beautiful Victorian style townhouses. My bedroom and ensuite was kept extremely clean and tidy. The room was serviced daily without failure. The staff in the restaurant were particularly impressive. They handled the peak periods very professionally. A real credit to the whole team.

Staff super friendly, Tony in the breakfast restaurant was lovely. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable, bathroom compact but shower very good. The location from the central bus station is about a half hour walk in a residential area so it is nice and quiet. There are buses that you can get if you don’t like a walk. The hotel itself is beautiful and the decor very tasteful. Northern Ireland was fabulous, I don’t think I’ve ever met such friendly people and we will definitely be back and I would be happy to stay at the Malone again.

Free onsite parking was a big drawcard for us. Hard to find in a city. We liked the character and location in a leafy Belfast street although it was quite a hike into the city centre itself (fortunately you can catch a bus at the top of the road). Very happy with the breakfast and service (thank you, Marianne). Clean and comfortable room with nice old-school touches like slippers, dressing gowns, iron and ironing board. There was acres of space, guessing it's intended to be wheelchair accessible.

Great location & free parking. Staff were very friendly but they were stretched. Reception area was lovely, we didn’t have time for a drink in the bar but it looked welcoming with a nice atmosphere - we would have liked to! An express check out box for guests that have prepaid could help reception in the morning.
